The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunnarsson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Brisk scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Teitur Gunnarsson has been cut.
Gunnarsson throws a leg kick but Brisk sees it coming and moves out of range.
Brisk misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gunnarsson throws a looping overhand right but Brisk ducks down to avoid it.

Brisk lands a big head kick that sends Gunnarsson tumbling to the mat! Brisk takes a step backwards and waves Gunnarsson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Brisk ducks under a wild hook from Gunnarsson.
Gunnarsson throws a low kick but Brisk avoids it.
Brisk looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gunnarsson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brisk checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Brisk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brisk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gunnarsson.
Brisk pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Gunnarsson lands a left and a right that send Brisk crashing to the mat, dazed. Gunnarsson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Mav Brisk has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gunnarsson misses with a low kick.
Brisk swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Gunnarsson to counter with a crisp jab.
Brisk tries a head kick but it misses.
Brisk sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Brisk is breathing heavily.

Gunnarsson cracks Brisk with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gunnarsson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Brisk to stand back up!
Brisk takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Gunnarsson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gunnarsson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Gunnarsson sends Brisk crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gunnarsson is motioning to the referee to let Brisk up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Brisk is rocked!

Mav Brisk's cut is getting worse.

Oh Brisk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brisk takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Brisk seems to have got his legs back now.

Good leg kick by Gunnarsson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Brisk is holding his hands too far apart here. Gunnarsson throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Brisk is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Teitur Gunnarsson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
