Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gniewomir Kowalek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Kay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalek shoots in looking for a takedown but Kay manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kowalek's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kay forces Kowalek back against the cage and clinches.

Kowalek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kay circles away.

Kay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kowalek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Well Kay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
