The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wandeco stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Mike Neely has been cut.
Neely swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Neely ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wandeco moves away.
Neely looks to land a body kick but Wandeco moved away.
Wandeco dips to his left and cracks Neely with an uppercut!
Neely shoots for a double leg takedown but Wandeco sprawls well. He's pushed Neely 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Neely fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wandeco walks into a left hand.

Wandeco moves into the clinch.

Wandeco breaks from the clinch.
Wandeco looks to land a combination but Neely avoids it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Neely throws a jab when Wandeco was well out of range.

Wandeco misses with a series of wild punches.
Wandeco throws a series of punches but Neely avoids them all with ease.
Wandeco feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Neely s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Neely ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wandeco moves away.

and Wandeco counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Wandeco wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Neely keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wandeco's efforts to push away.
Wandeco is trying to maintain a safe position but Neely gets an underhook and turns Wandeco into the ropes.

Neely stalls.
Neely lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Wandeco lands with a right to the head.
Wandeco trying to stall but Neely improves his position.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Neely throws an elbow but misses.
Wandeco blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Wandeco can't find room to land a body shot as Neely controls the action.
Neely blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Wandeco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A combination from Wandeco does no damage.
Neely on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wandeco avoids the head kick by Neely .

Neely lands a jab to Wandeco's midsection.
A slow jab from Neely misses its intended target.

Neely shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Neely showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wandeco wants to get back to his feet.

Wandeco scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Neely manages to mount him!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Wandeco really wants to buck Neely off and get back to his feet.
Neely with a couple of short strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Neely looking to finish Wandeco with some ground and pound. This is bad for Wandeco!
