The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Head misses.
Good exchange - Head coming out on top.
Head misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Head tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kokovtsov was well out of range. Poor timing from Head.
Head's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kokovtsov under the eye.
Kokovtsov throws a right hand that Head ducks under and follows up with a left that Head also avoids with ease.
Kokovtsov misses with a wild body shot.
Kokovtsov throws a nice looking combination but Head bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kokovtsov lands a big head kick that sends Head tumbling to the mat! Kokovtsov takes a step backwards and waves Head back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Richard Head has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Head's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Head duly obliges.

Head avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kokovtsov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Head sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Head clobbers Kokovtsov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Kokovtsov throws out a loose jab but Head uses good head movement to avoid it.
Head on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Head lands with an uppercut that bounces Kokovtsov off the cage and back into range.
Kokovtsov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Head connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kokovtsov throws a looping overhand right but Head ducks down to avoid it.

Kokovtsov takes a swing at Head's ribcage but misses.

Kokovtsov throws a hook to the side of Head's head but Head sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kokovtsov jabs Head to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kokovtsov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Head on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kokovtsov. Kokovtsov obviously looking to wear him down.
Kokovtsov lands a nice hook to Head's body. Head takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kokovtsov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kokovtsov throws a right and a left that Head avoids nicely.
Head throws a big shot that misses.

Head throws a lazy uppercut
and Kokovtsov counters with a two punch combo.
Kokovtsov lands a left and a right that send Head crashing to the mat, dazed. Kokovtsov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Head is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kokovtsov staying out of range there.
Oh Head is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Head swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Head loses concentration momentarily and Kokovtsov pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Head crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Kokovtsov finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
