The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Mark Kingston just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

and Ruston counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kingston won't be happy with that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Kingston dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ruston darts in and clinches Kingston up against the cage.
Ruston has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kingston is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ruston gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Kingston scrambles and gets back to his feet.

and Ruston counters by moving into the clinch.

Ruston tries to pull guard but Kingston holds him up against the cage and eventually Ruston drops back down to his feet.
Kingston wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kingston fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Ruston connects with a knee right up the middle there - that's rocked Kingston badly! Kingston tumbles to the floor and Ruston stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
