The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joesph closes the distance but Cifer Jr moves to the side
and Cifer Jr counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cifer Jr cracks a nice hook into Joesph's ribs.
Joesph shoots in but Cifer Jr avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Cifer Jr lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Joesph at a distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cifer Jr digs a good hook to Joesph's body.

Cifer Jr cracks Joesph with an uppercut from hell and Joesph crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Cifer Jr's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

It looks like Heath Joesph has been cut.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cifer Jr passes Joesph's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Joesph really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cifer Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cifer Jr looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Joesph with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Joesph has hold of Cifer Jr's hands but Cifer Jr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Joesph is rocked!
Cifer Jr lands a big elbow - Joesph is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Cifer Jr!
