Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kennith Hester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hester has chosen Undone by: All That Remains as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hester wants to clinch.
Mills keeps the fight on the outside.
Mills circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mills closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mills thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Mills decides to stand back up. Mills steps back and let's Hester get back to his feet.

Mills gets a takedown into half guard.
Hester is refusing to be controlled, as Mills sits in half guard.
Mills tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hester knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Hester wants to get back to his feet.

Mills is working for a kimura but Hester is defending it quite comfortably.
Mills is taking a breather. Hester says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Mills tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hester knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Mills is looking for a kimura but Hester is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mills to get the leverage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mills scores with a nice right hand.

Mills shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Mills is breathing heavily.

Hester wants to control but Mills is having none of it.

Mills swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hester is now in Mills's guard. A big mistake from Mills there, giving up the dominant position!
Hester won't allow Mills to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hester would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Mills is looking for a triangle here but Hester uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Hester decides to stand back up.
Hester tries to clinch there but Mills circles away.

Mills shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mills showed some decent athleticism there.
Hester pushes Mills off but Mills dives into side control.
Mills trying to control the action but Hester is working from the bottom.

Mills is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hester is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mills swings around for an armbar but Hester sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mills's guard.

Hester is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mills has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hester is looking to defend but Mills has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hester! Mills pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hester taps out and this one is all over!
