Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Lyoto Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Polski!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Polski.
Polski connects with a body shot that sends Silva's belly button to the back.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Polski napping and manages to drive through into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Polski can't do much from the bottom here.
Polski is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Silva decides to stand back up.

Silva lands a big uppercut and Polski crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Polski looks OK. Silva waves Polski back to his feet!

It looks like Brian Polski has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A chopping leg kick lands by Polski.

Silva closes the distance and clinches.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Polski darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Silva wants to control but Polski is keeping busy.

Polski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Silva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Silva has a closed guard, preventing Polski from standing up.
Silva throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Polski wants to stand and escape but instead Silva has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva stands up over Polski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Brian Polski was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Polski shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.

Silva manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Polski on his heels. He'll look to pass Polski's guard now, I'm sure.

Polski has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

Polski has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Silva doesn't defend quickly enough and Polski has managed to lock this one up! Can Silva escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Polski on a fantastic submission victory.
