Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hunter's choice of entrance music: Dance Monkey -Sage Francis. Matt Hunter acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Skinner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matt Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hunter tries to avoid it but Skinner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hunter to the ground. Hunter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hunter doesn't manage to clinch there - Skinner circles away.
Hunter is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hunter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Skinner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hunter moves in looking to clinch but Skinner pushes him off.
Hunter tries to clinch but Skinner moves out of range.

Hunter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Skinner throws a left and a right that both miss

and Hunter counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hunter.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Skinner goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hunter has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Skinner but great work by Hunter.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Skinner is desperately trying to improve his position but Hunter has a good base and remains in mount.

Hunter goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Skinner is on top in guard.
Hunter wants to stand but Skinner is controlling the position.
Skinner wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving.

Hunter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Skinner passes Hunter's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Skinner seems to be working for a kimura but Hunter defends the submission attempt.

Skinner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hunter was well out of range. Poor timing from Skinner.

Skinner fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Skinner is looking to wear down Hunter with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hunter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Skinner.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Skinner throws a body punch but Hunter moves out of range.

Hunter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Skinner will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
