Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henrik Kallio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhaka Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kallio comes into the arena with Meshuggah - obZen blaring out of the sound system. Zhaka Zulu told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulu misses with a two punch combination.
Kallio showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zulu.
Kallio tries a head kick but it misses.
Zulu misses with a double jab.
Zulu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kallio tries to avoid it but Zulu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kallio to the ground. Kallio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zulu is looking to clinch but Kallio is avoiding it.
Zulu throws a right hand that Kallio ducks under and follows up with a left that Kallio also avoids with ease.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zulu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kallio lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zulu!
Zulu wants to try and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zhaka Zulu dominated that round.
That's time! Kallio's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Zulu tries to clinch there but Kallio circles away.
Zulu drives through with a takedown into Kallio's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Zulu wants to sweep here but Kallio controlling him for the moment.

Zulu is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kallio is controlling him well.
Zulu is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Kallio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zulu keeps working.
Kallio has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Zulu is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kallio yanks on the arm and Zulu is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kallio.
