The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villa Kozlof wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Delos Reyes getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Villa Kozlof bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Delos Reyes's head.

It looks like Jose Delos Reyes has been cut.
Delos Reyes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Delos Reyes throws a head kick that misses.
Delos Reyes takes a kick to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A chopping leg kick lands by Villa Kozlof.

Nice combo by Villa Kozlof! Oh, that's hurt him - Delos Reyes falls to the canvas and Villa Kozlof follows him into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Delos Reyes sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Delos Reyes is looking to improve his position.
Villa Kozlof is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Villa Kozlof decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Delos Reyes goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Villa Kozlof scores with a kick to the midsection.
Jose Delos Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Villa Kozlof throws a front kick that sends Delos Reyes stumbling back into the cage.
Delos Reyes is breathing heavily.

Villa Kozlof lands a head kick that stumbles Delos Reyes and the fighters go to the mat.

Villa Kozlof lands with a kick to the temple. Delos Reyes shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Oh Delos Reyes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jose Delos Reyes's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The fighters circle, before Villa Kozlof throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Delos Reyes's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Villa Kozlof lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
