Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Nolan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zach Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez misses with a low kick.
Nolan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ramirez pinned against the cage. Ramirez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nolan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ramirez is fending him off so far but Nolan persists. Nope, Ramirez circles away and we're back to standing.
Nolan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Ramirez pushes Nolan up against the cage in a clinch.

Nolan gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Ramirez holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Nolan is looking for a kimura here.
Nolan wants to take a breather but Ramirez is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ramirez is defending against the submission attempts here by Nolan.

Nolan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ramirez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nolan.
Ramirez tries to get to full guard but Nolan has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Nolan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ramirez sees it coming and defends easily.
Nolan works his way into full mount!
Ramirez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nolan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nolan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ramirez is looking to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Nolan working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Ramirez turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Nolan off and cradles Ramirez's limp body as Nolan celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Chris Nolan!
Chris Nolan tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
