Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake LaMotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Frac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaMotta comes into the arena with Cavalleria Rusticana: Intermezzo blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, James Frac!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frac keeps the fight on the outside.
Frac misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from LaMotta.

Frac darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Frac is looking for a kimura here.

Frac is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so LaMotta is just riding it out for now. Frac eventually gives up the hold.

Frac seems to be working for a kimura but LaMotta defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Frac drops back looking for a leg! LaMotta is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LaMotta manages to kick Frac off! Frac jumps back into LaMotta's guard.
Frac stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LaMotta swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
LaMotta pulls Frac in close to his closed guard and prevents Frac from doing any damage or advancing position.

Frac drops back looking for a leg! LaMotta is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LaMotta manages to kick Frac off! Frac jumps back into LaMotta's guard.

James Frac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

LaMotta manages to capitalize on a mistake by Frac to take his back!

LaMotta is trying to stick to Frac's back but Frac is turning into LaMotta. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in LaMotta's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Frac.
