The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vasuri was covering up waiting for the punch and Romanov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Romanov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Romanov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Vasuri tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Romanov has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Vasuri!
Romanov lands a big elbow.
BOOM! Romanov connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Vasuri is rocked!

Romanov loads up with a big shot that hurts Vasuri! He's pulled Romanov in close but Romanov has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Vasuri survive? More strikes from Romanov and Vasuri is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
