Baduk comes to the cage accompanied by Leontiev Valera - Sokrovische Chernogo Morya. Boy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Миша Маваши - & kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Russian Boy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Russian Boy!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Baduk's head backwards.

It looks like Sergei Baduk has been cut.
Boy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Baduk.

Baduk drops Boy with a left right combo! Baduk follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Russian Boy has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Baduk tries for a kimura but Boy is defending well.
Boy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baduk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Baduk is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Baduk thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Baduk moves in looking to clinch but Boy pushes him off.

Baduk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nice defenses there by Baduk.
Baduk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boy.

Boy looks to land a combination but Baduk avoids it well.
Boy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baduk moves away.
Boy misses with a two punch combination.
Boy lands a jab to Baduk's midsection.
Baduk throws the left hand but Boy avoids the punch easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Baduk swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Baduk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sergei Baduk will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Baduk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Boy throws a body punch but Baduk moves out of range.

Baduk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boy manages to avoid it.
Baduk connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Boy digs a good body shot into Baduk's ribs.
The fighters circling - Boy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The fighters circle momentarily. Boy darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Boy loads up on a big right hand but Baduk slips the punch.
Russian Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Boy misses.
Boy throws a looping overhand right but Baduk ducks down to avoid it.
Boy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Baduk counters with a right hand that sends Boy tumbling to the canvas! Can Baduk finish him? He dives into Boy's guard looking to do just that!

That has opened up Russian Boy's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Baduk won't allow Boy to sweep him here.

Baduk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Baduk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Boy wants to stand but Baduk is controlling the position.

Boy pulls Baduk in close to prevent any damage.
Boy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Baduk prevents Boy from getting back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Russian Boy was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Boy throws a sloppy body shot
and as Boy loses concentration momentarily, Baduk counters with a picture perfect head kick! Boy goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
