Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joop Van Kopstote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Super Jim!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Kopstote tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jim paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jim drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jim jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jim is working for an americana but Van Kopstote has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Jim was thinking about the submission.

Van Kopstote drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jim manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Van Kopstote has Jim in his guard.

Jim drops back, looking for a kneebar! Van Kopstote looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Van Kopstote looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Van Kopstote!
Jim manages to work his way to half guard, despite Van Kopstote's best efforts.

Jim is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Van Kopstote pulls his head out easily.

Van Kopstote keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jim's head.

Jim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Kopstote gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jim parries the strikes from Van Kopstote easily there. Van Kopstote is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jim to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I would just about give that final round to Super Jim.
