Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Harry Potter enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Quentin Costa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Potter!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa with a poor takedown
and Potter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Harry Potter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Potter catches Costa right on the button with a cross.
Costa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Costa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Potter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Costa's head backwards.
Potter connects with a single shot there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Potter looks to throw the jab but Costa is out of range.
Potter works over Costa's head and body with a nice combination.
Costa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Potter tries to avoid it but Costa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Potter to the ground. Potter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Potter missing with a left hand there. Costa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Potter throws a hook to the side of Costa's head but Costa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Potter misses with a looping right.

Costa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Potter finds it's way round the side to connect with Costa's head.
Potter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Costa doesn't seem bothered though.
Costa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Potter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Costa somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quentin Costa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Costa throws a hook but Potter avoids it easily.
Potter loads up on a big right hand but Costa slips the punch.

Costa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Potter tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Costa is in Potter's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Potter wants to get back to his feet but Costa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Quentin Costa.
Potter thuds his right hand into Costa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Costa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Potter manages to avoid it.
Costa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Potter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Costa somewhat.
Potter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Costa momentarily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Potter is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry Potter dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Costa manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Potter on his heels. He'll look to pass Potter's guard now, I'm sure.
Potter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Costa's guard.

Potter would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Potter wants to pass the guard but Costa is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Potter wants to stand but Costa is controlling his posture from full guard.
Potter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Costa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Harry Potter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Costa blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Potter has Costa pressed against the cage, preventing Costa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Costa takes a shot to the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Potter.
Potter pushes Costa back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Costa blocks an uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Potter is trying to push Costa away but Costa has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Potter stops a takedown attempt from Costa.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Potter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.


Costa is rocked!
Potter lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Costa to his knees! Potter keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harry Potter!
In his post fight interview, Harry Potter started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
