Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ezio Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andros Silvanos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ezio Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andros Silvanos!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Creed closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Silvanos is looking to regain half guard here but Creed keeps moving and retains side control.
Creed gets to mount! Silvanos was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Creed stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Creed shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Still in half guard, Creed seems content to control.
Silvanos is trying to get back to full guard.

Silvanos moves into full guard.
Creed wants to pass the guard but Silvanos is keeping the position.
Creedis looking to pass into half guard but Silvanos pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Silvanos is in guard.

Silvanos is looking to stand up but Creed won't let him.
Creed wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Silvanos postures up in Creed's guard and throws a big left but Creed blocks it.

Ezio Creed has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Silvanos stuffs the takedown attempt from Creed. Creed gets slowly back to his feet.
Creed tries a head kick but it misses.

Creed decides to stand back up. Creed steps back and let's Silvanos get back to his feet.
Creed is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silvanos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Creed is breathing heavily.
Silvanos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Creed sprawls well. Creed wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silvanos gets slowly back to his feet.
Silvanos dives in and grabs Creed's left leg, looking for a takedown. Creed pushes down on Silvanos's head and hops out.

Creed circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silvanos shoots in looking for a takedown. Creed tries to sprawl out of it but Silvanos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Creed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ezio Creed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andros Silvanos.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Creed.
Creed throws a body punch but Silvanos moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Creed throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silvanos.

and Creed decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Silvanos's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ezio Creed just wasn't active enough.

Creed closes the distance and pushes Silvanos back into the cage.
Silvanos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Creed is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Silvanos can't find room to land a body shot as Creed controls the action.

Creed has clasped his hands together around Silvanos's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Creed working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Silvanos is working to avoid the ground and pound but Creed connects with a decent elbow.

Creed decides to take the fight back to the feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Silvanos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Silvanos wants to hit a switch here but Creed passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Silvanos there!

Creed is standing up, even though he is in mount.

and Creed counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Creed distracts Silvanos with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Creed slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ezio Creed.

Creed has managed to clinch.

Creed gets control of Silvanos's arms and successfully pulls guard. Creed will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Silvanos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
