Blair comes to the cage accompanied by Bullet by Creed. Juarez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: SYSTEM OF A DOWN - Prison Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blair fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Juarez tries for a takedown but Blair sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Juarez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blair avoids it really well and circles away.
Blair lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Juarez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Juarez ducks right into an uppercut from Blair.
A combination from Blair does no damage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Blair, as that shot connected.
Blair swats away the attempt to clinch by Juarez.

Juarez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Blair's guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Juarez lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Juarez wants to pass the guard but Blair is keeping the position.
Blair is trying to keep Juarez in close.
Blair is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Blair pulls Juarez in close to his closed guard and prevents Juarez from doing any damage or advancing position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Juarez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blair swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Juarez chips away with some ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Juarez wants to pass the guard but Blair is keeping the position.

Oh but Juarez is tightening it up a little... Blair has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Blair reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Blair taps out! Nice BJJ there by Juarez!
