Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jin Haworang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darth Maul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maul lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haworang circles away quickly and effectively.
Maul throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Haworang counters with a right hand to the body.

Maul throws a series of punches but Haworang moves out of range.
Maul loads up on a big right hand but Haworang slips the punch.
Darth Maul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haworang moves in looking to clinch but Maul pushes him off.
Maul just misses with a punch to the body.
No joy there for Maul, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Maul throws a right hand that Haworang ducks under and follows up with a left that Haworang also avoids with ease.

It looks like Darth Maul has been cut.

Haworang doesn't manage to clinch there - Maul circles away.
Haworang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Maul.
The fight stays on the outside here - Haworang looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jin Haworang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Maul connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Haworang momentarily.
Maul lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Maul shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Haworang is trying to stand up here but Maul is controlling him well.

Maul looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Haworang keeps Maul at a distance using the push kick.
Maul throws a hook but Haworang avoids it easily.

Haworang scores with a nice head shot.
Maul misses with a few strikes there.
Haworang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Haworang counters with a three punch combo that has Maul backing up. Maul nods at Haworang to acknowledge the strikes.
Haworang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maul paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haworang wants to get back to his feet but Maul is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Maul decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Haworang, up you get!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jin Haworang will probably get the nod.

That's time! Haworang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Haworang counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Maul to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Haworang!
