Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Perhonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Disturbed- Run. Gavin Stone has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perhonen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Perhonen looks to score with a jab to the body but Stone is just out of range.
Perhonen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stone tries to move into range but Perhonen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Perhonen throws a sloppy head kick and Stone moves out of range easily.
Perhonen scores with a jab to the body.
Perhonen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Perhonen lands a jab to the head.
Stone takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Perhonen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Perhonen clobbers Stone with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Perhonen, right into the meat.
Stone tries to move into range but Perhonen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Stone tries a head kick but it misses.
Perhonen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stone doesn't seem bothered though.
Perhonen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Perhonen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Stone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Perhonen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Stone tries to clinch but Perhonen is having none of it.

Perhonen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Perhonen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Perhonen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stone is breathing heavily.
Perhonen cracks a nice hook into Stone's ribs.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Perhonen.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Perhonen in side control lands a decent elbow.
Perhonen wants to control but Stone is keeping him busy.
Stone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Perhonen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Stone manages to work his way to half guard, despite Perhonen's best efforts.
Perhonen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Stone flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Stone has hold of Perhonen's hands but Perhonen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perhonen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stone with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Stone is trying to get back to full guard.
Perhonen is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Perhonen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stone's head.

Perhonen is working for a kimura but Stone is defending it quite comfortably.
Stone is refusing to be controlled, as Perhonen sits in half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Stone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stone has hold of Perhonen's hands but Perhonen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Perhonen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Perhonen prevents Stone from improving his position.
Perhonen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perhonen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Perhonen is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Stone rather than just go for the knockout.
Perhonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Perhonen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stone backs up against the cage.

Perhonen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
