Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shooter McGavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn has chosen No Money for Guns by High Rankin as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shooter McGavin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Gunn!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - McGavin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gunn keeps the fight on the outside.
Gunn closes this distance looking for a takedown but McGavin circles away.

McGavin throws a knee to the head but misses.
McGavin connects with a nasty looking knee right to Gunn's face.


It looks like Tommy Gunn has been cut.
Gunn is working for takedown but McGavin is calmly controlling the position for now.

McGavin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gunn tries to avoid it but McGavin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gunn to the ground. Gunn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McGavin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gunn blocks it with crossed arms.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gunn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGavin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
