Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dokonjonosuke Fujisaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Kopite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fujisaki's entrance music is Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N' Roses. A fine choice. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dokonjonosuke Fujisaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Kopite!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujisaki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kopite throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Fujisaki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kopite won't be happy with that.

Fujisaki goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kopite rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fujisaki's guard! Nice work there by Kopite!

Fujisaki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kopite won't allow Fujisaki to sweep him here.

Kopite stands up over Fujisaki, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Kopite drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kopite jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kopite must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fujisaki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kopite defends it easily.

Fujisaki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kopite gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kopite tries to free his leg and advance position but Fujisaki is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kopite is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Fujisaki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fujisaki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kopite postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kopite is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fujisaki is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fujisaki has escaped and now he's on top!

Fujisaki got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kopite has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fujisaki has managed to get both his arms back between Kopite's legs - danger averted.
Kopite looking for a sweep. Not yet Kopite, not yet.
Fujisakiis looking to pass into half guard but Kopite pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kopite is in guard.
Fujisaki lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kopite!
Fujisaki wants to control the pace but Kopite is squirming around nicely.
Kopite is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kopite is looking to improve his position but Fujisaki isn't that keen on the idea.

Kopite is trying to escape the mount.
Fujisaki wants to take Kopite's back but he can't do it this time.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fujisaki cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fujisaki trying to control but Kopite is having none of it.
Fujisaki controlling from the full mount.
Kopite is working to get back to half guard.

Fujisaki jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kopite is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kopite and Fujisaki has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fujisaki trying to control the position but Kopite is working away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dokonjonosuke Fujisaki dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Fujisaki dives in and grabs Kopite's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kopite pushes down on Fujisaki's head and hops out.
Nice uppercut lands for Kopite. That snapped Fujisaki's head back.


It looks like Dokonjonosuke Fujisaki has been cut.
Kopite misses with a series of wild punches.
Kopite works the jab nicely.
Fujisaki moves away from the strike by Kopite.
Kopite misses with a looping left.
Kopite doesn't manage to clinch there - Fujisaki circles away.
Fujisaki shoots and misses

and Kopite counters by clinching up.
Fujisaki is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kopite to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dokonjonosuke Fujisaki. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fujisaki ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fujisaki no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kopite passes Fujisaki's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kopite looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Fujisaki looking for a triangle here. Kopite is fighting it but it looks tight! Fujisaki pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kopite is tapping out - this one is all over!

Dokonjonosuke Fujisaki seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
