Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cu IV!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 74 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boston Terrier!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

IV moves into the clinch.
Terrier has had enough of the clinch but IV keeps him there for the moment.
Terrier should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Knees to the body from IV.
IV lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

IV has hold of one of Terrier's legs. Terrier is fighting the takedown attempt but IV gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
IV stays in close to Terrier's body and controls the position.
IV's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
IV sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Terrier's guard.
IV will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
IV passes to side control.
IV landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Terrier looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.

IV decides to stand back up. IV steps back and let's Terrier get back to his feet.

IV closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Terrier to the mat! Terrier manages to get full guard.
IV advances position into side control!

IV stands up and we're back to a striking position.

IV shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Terrier is trying to defend but IV finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.


Terrier is rocked!
IV scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Terrier is still in real trouble! Can IV finish him?

IV seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Terrier is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
