The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Starsky's waist but Starsky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sonnen off to one side.
Sonnen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sonnen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Starsky manages to avoid it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sonnen is defended easily by Starsky.
Sonnen fails to land with a series of punches.
Starsky scores with a hook to the body. Sonnen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Starsky keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Chael Sonnen has been cut.
Starsky thuds a left hand into Sonnen's body.
Sonnen shoots for a double leg takedown but Starsky sprawls well. He's pushed Sonnen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chael Sonnen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sonnen throws a hook but Starsky blocks it.
Starsky works Sonnen's body with a nice hook.
Sonnen misses with a low kick as Starsky jumps back.
Sonnen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Starsky slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Starsky fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sonnen on the side of the head.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sonnen. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Starsky ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sonnen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Starsky is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Sonnen rather than just go for the knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sonnen looks up at the clock. Bad move! Starsky lands a right hand from hell, dropping Sonnen. Starsky pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
