Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peppy LaPue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Mexico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mexico comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I want war kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaPue throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mexico on the side of the head.
LaPue fails with an attempt to clinch.
LaPue takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mexico lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Peppy LaPue has been cut.
LaPue tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mexico swings for the body but LaPue moves out of range.
Mexico missing with a left hand there. LaPue was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Mexico tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

LaPue breaks from the clinch.
Mexico keeps the fight on the outside.
Mexico loads up on a big right hand but LaPue slips the punch.
Peppy LaPue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LaPue throws a right and a left that both miss.
LaPue staying out of range there.

LaPue has closed the distance and engaged Mexico in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on LaPue's face as he tries to break the clinch.
LaPue pushes Mexico back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

LaPue lands a good knee to the midsection. Mexico won't want to take too many of those.

LaPue breaks the clinch.
Mexico chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before LaPue can pounce on him.
LaPue moves in looking to clinch but Mexico pushes him off.
LaPue tries to clinch up but Mexico circles away and keeps his distance.
Mexico comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mexico swats away the attempt to clinch by LaPue.
Mexico lands a right hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mexico misses with an uppercut. LaPue saw that one coming.
LaPue fails with an attempt to clinch.
LaPue is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A swing and a miss from Mexico.

LaPue tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mexico paws at him with a jab and circles away.
LaPue throws a wild hook but Mexico just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! LaPue gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Mexico raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
