Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ippo Makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makunouchi scores with a decent looking hook.
Fist misses with a low kick.
Makunouchi lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fist backs up against the cage.
Makunouchi misses with a series of wild punches.
Kyle Fist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Makunouchi scores with a punch to the head.
Makunouchi misses with a few strikes there.
Fist looks to land a right hand but Makunouchi moved out of range.
Makunouchi misses with a double jab.
Makunouchi fails to land with a series of punches.
Fist throws a sloppy head kick and Makunouchi moves out of range easily.
Makunouchi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Makunouchi blocks a head kick by Fist.
Makunouchi throws a nice looking combination but Fist bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Makunouchi throws a right and a left that Fist avoids nicely.

Makunouchi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fist wants to control but Makunouchi is having none of it.
Makunouchi misses with a head shot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee warns Fist that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Makunouchi lands with some strikes.

Fist is rocked!

It looks like Kyle Fist has been cut.
Fist is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fist seems to have got his legs back now.
Makunouchi fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
