Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Zanta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zanta moves in looking to clinch but Paris pushes him off.
Paris really is a fat lump.
Zanta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Paris shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Paris passes to full mount!
Zanta wants to get back to his feet.
Paris putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Zanta bucks up and throws Paris to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Paris shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Zanta is trying to stand up.

Zanta is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Paris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zanta looks gassed!

Paris has control of Zanta's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Zanta regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Paris with shots to the head and body - Zanta looks very uncomfortable down there.
Zanta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zanta tries to buck Paris off but he can't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zanta is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Paris is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Zanta can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
