Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amazing Game (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Game has chosen Spirit in the Sky as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Michael Angelo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Amazing Game!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Angelo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Game.

Game shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Game showed some decent athleticism there.
Well, if Game is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Game is trying to control the action in half guard but Angelo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Game is stalling here. Angelo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Game seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Angelo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Game is trying to drag Angelo to the mat but Angelo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Game throws a lazy uppercut
and Angelo counters with a nice leg kick.
Angelo tries to clinch up but Game circles away and keeps his distance.
Angelo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Game throws a quick inside leg kick.
Game will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice defenses there by Angelo.

Angelo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Game paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Angelo will probably get the nod.

Game uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Angelo.

Michael Angelo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amazing Game.

Angelo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Game counters with a nice low kick that buckles Angelo's knee momentarily.
Game lands a really nice looking cross but Angelo seems unphased.

Game bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Game prevents Angelo from escaping the position.
Angelo parries the strikes from Game easily there. Game is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Angelo to escape.
Game wants to lay and pray for a moment but Angelo keeps working.

Angelo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Angelo tries to get out of the position.

Game seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Angelo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Angelo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Angelo has closed the distance and engaged Game in a clinch.

Game manages to break the clinch.
Angelo throws a head kick but Game moves out of range.
Game swats away the attempt to clinch by Angelo.
Game scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Game scores with a hook.
Angelo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Game manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Angelo throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Game stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Angelo follows into mount!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Game bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Game stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Angelo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Angelo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Game has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Game looking to control but instead Angelo has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Game is just content to waste time from the top position. Angelo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Amazing Game.
I think Game has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
