The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naaktgeboren will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Braun takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Franz Braun has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Naaktgeboren .
Naaktgeboren throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Braun's waist but Braun gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Naaktgeboren off to one side.

Naaktgeboren bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Braun is looking to regain half guard here but Naaktgeboren keeps moving and retains side control.
