The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rapidus clinches up against the cage.

Rapidus manages to break the clinch.
Machida takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Lyota Machida has been cut.

Rapidus has Machida up against the cage in a clinch.
Rapidus tries to break the clinch but Machida is controlling the position.
Machida tries to pull guard but Rapidus holds him up against the cage and eventually Machida drops back down to his feet.
Rapidus lands a right hand that snaps the head of Machida backwards.

Machida is rocked!

Rapidus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Machida fails with a takedown attempt.
Rapidus connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Machida is still on wobbly legs! Can Rapidus finish him?
Rapidus throws an uppercut from hell that sends Machida clean off his feet! He's out cold! Rapidus stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
