Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Otou Hek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hek's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tha Playah. Eddie Price has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Otou Hek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddie Price!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price lands with a nice body kick.
Price circles away from the clinch attempt.
Price throws a chopping leg kick but Hek manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Price is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Price connects with a solid leg kick.
Hek shoots for a takedown but Price saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hek tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Price manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Price manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Hek drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hek jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hek drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Price manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hek has Price in his guard.

Price throws an elbow that misses. Hek uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Price's guard. Nice move by Hek!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hek throws a big right hand that misses.

Price working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hek doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hek manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Price drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hek looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hek looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hek!

Hek misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hek is trying to get an arm triangle but Price is defending well.
Hek has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Price takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Price tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hek scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Price to see if he's OK.

Price on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Price really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hek cracks Price with a big right hand but Price just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Price has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hek can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hek thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hek takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Price wants to get back to full guard.

Hek in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Price tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hek!
