Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keaton Mendonca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Burnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendonca kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS - DISTURBED. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnett looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mendonca looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Burnett shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mendonca but Mendonca pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Burnett fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mendonca sprawls well initially but Burnett persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Burnett takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
