Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Florin Chernat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berry Nicolas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berry Nicolas will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nicolas gets a clinch.
Nicolas tries a knee to the head but Chernat blocks it.
Chernat is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Nicolas to keep the fight standing.

Nicolas blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Nicolas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nicolas throws a series of punches but Chernat moves out of range.
Chernat shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nicolas defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Florin Chernat. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nicolas closes the distance and clinches.
Chernat jumps guard but Nicolas stands there with Chernat around his waist. Chernat gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Chernat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chernat lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nicolas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nicolas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Chernat shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nicolas sprawls well. Nicolas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chernat gets slowly back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nicolas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chernat avoids the head kick by Nicolas.

Nicolas has managed to clinch.

Nicolas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nicolas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chernat connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nicolas scrambles back to his feet.

Nicolas closes the distance and pushes Chernat back into the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Nicolas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chernat looks for a takedown but Nicolas sprawls well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nicolas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chernat shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nicolas pinned against the cage. Nicolas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Nicolas forces Chernat back against the cage and clinches.
Nicolas landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Chernat is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nicolas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

It looks like Florin Chernat has been cut.
Chernat switches off momentarily and Nicolas cracks him with a monster right hand! Chernat topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Nicolas dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Nicolas!
