Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zhang Wufie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus Monfries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wufie comes to the cage accompanied by Beg Waves. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monfries scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Monfries changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wufie tries to avoid it but Monfries manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wufie to the ground. Wufie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wufie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Monfries has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Angus Monfries seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Monfries on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Monfries shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wufie as he jumps to the side.

Zhang Wufie decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
