Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamid Anubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nefertum Imhotep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nefertum Imhotep!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anubis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Imhotep avoids it really well and circles away.

Anubis instigates a clinch.
Anubis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Imhotep is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Anubis gets control of Imhotep's arms and successfully pulls guard. Anubis will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Imhotep got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anubis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Imhotep has managed to get both his arms back between Anubis's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Imhotep wanted to stand there but Anubis had control of the position.

Imhotep gets to his feet. Anubis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Imhotep shoots in for a takedown but Anubis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Anubis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Anubis.
Hamid Anubis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nefertum Imhotep.
Anubis blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Imhotep has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anubis avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Anubis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Imhotep smiles and moves away.

Imhotep has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anubis is working away from the top position though.
Imhotep is staying active underneath Anubis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Anubis seems to be looking for submissions.
Anubis misses with a head shot. Imhotep uses the momentum to regain guard.
Imhotep wants to control the position but Anubis says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Anubis is working for a kimura but Imhotep is defending it quite comfortably.
Imhotep has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anubis is working away from the top position though.

Imhotep has one foot on Anubis's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Imhotep gets a clinch.
Anubis prevents a takedown attempt there.
Anubis jumps guard but Imhotep turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Imhotep tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Imhotep can't get the takedown.

Anubis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Anubis misses with a takedown attempt - Imhotep sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Nefertum Imhotep seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anubis lands a decent elbow from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Imhotep connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Hamid Anubis has been cut.
Anubis tries for a takedown but Imhotep sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Imhotep pushes Anubis up against the cage in a clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Imhotep takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Anubis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Imhotep to keep the fight standing.
Anubis wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Imhotep has him pressed against the cage.
Anubis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
