Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lars Thunstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Machin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunstrom comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy - Spitfire. Lars Thunstrom has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunstrom throws a hook but Machin blocks it.
The fighters circling - Machin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thunstrom waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Machin.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Machin.
Thunstrom takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thunstrom uses his free foot to push down on Machin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Machin.

Thunstrom has control of Machin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Machin regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Machin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Thunstrom's guard.

Thunstrom escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Machin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Thunstrom shoots in and drives through. Machin sprawls well.
Machin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thunstrom tries to avoid it but Machin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thunstrom to the ground. Thunstrom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Machin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Thunstrom throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Machin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Machin closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Thunstrom paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Machin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thunstrom.
Machin tries to land a front kick but Thunstrom steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Machin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Machin feints a jab promting Thunstrom to slip. Machin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Thunstrom slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Machin is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Thunstrom off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
