The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ironside looks to score with a jab to the body but Romanov is just out of range.
Ironside misses with an uppercut. Romanov saw that one coming.
Romanov ducks right into an uppercut from Ironside.

It looks like Nicolai Romanov has been cut.
Ironside connects with a looping right hand.
Romanov misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Romanov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Romanov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ironside connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Romanov scrambles back to his feet.
Romanov scores with the left hand. Ironside knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ironside lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ironside stuffs the takedown attempt from Romanov. Romanov gets slowly back to his feet.

Romanov ducks straight into an uppercut from Ironside and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Romanov manages to regain guard straight away.

Romanov is rocked!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ironside passes Romanov's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Romanov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ironside is thwarting Romanov's attempts to control the position.
Romanov wants to get back to full guard.
Ironside tries to pass the half guard into mount. Romanov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Ironside trying to control the action but Romanov is working from the bottom.
Ironside is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Romanov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Ironside is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Romanov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ironside.

Romanov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ironside is working away from the top position though.
Ironside is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Ironside misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Romanov is wriggling around trying to escape.
