Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Activin!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kappa connects with a nice looking jab.
Kappa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Activin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kappa throws a series of punches but Activin moves out of range.
Kappa moves away from the strike by Activin.
Activin punishes Kappa's body with a nice straight punch.
A punch combination from Kappa misses.
Activin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Activin just misses with a punch to the body.
Activin misses with a few strikes there.
Activin shoots for a double leg takedown but Kappa sprawls well. He's pushed Activin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kappa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Activin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kappa. Kappa circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Activin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Activin checks a leg kick.

Kappa is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Activin.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Activin takes a kick to the side of the head.
Activin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kappa attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

It looks like George Activin has been cut.
Kappa throws a hook but Activin avoids it easily.
Kappa keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Activin misses with a double jab.
Activin missing with a left hand there. Kappa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Activin throws a big shot that misses.
Kappa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Activin to score with a decent uppercut.
Activin throws a series of strikes that have Kappa backpedaling.

Kappa shoots for a double leg takedown but Activin sprawls well. He's pushed Kappa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kappa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Activin sprawls well. Activin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kappa gets slowly back to his feet.

Kappa's corner calls for a 1-2. Kappa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Activin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Activin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kappa circles away quickly and effectively.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice inside leg kick there by Kappa. That's going to slow Activin down.
Sloppy strikes from Activin. Those never looked like landing.
Activin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kappa manages to avoid it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Activin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That was a close round but I would say that David Kappa will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Activin looks to land a right hand but Kappa moved out of range.
Activin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kappa.

Kappa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Activin.

Kappa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Activin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kappa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kappa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kappa is looking to take a break and control but Activin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Activin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Kappa looking to control but instead Activin has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Kappa is looking for a kimura but Activin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kappa to get the leverage.
Activin gets full guard.
Kappa throws a big right hand that misses.
Kappa won't allow Activin to sweep him here.

Activin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kappa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kappa not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kappa throws a big elbow that misses.
Kappa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Activin throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Activin keeping full guard, as Kappa tries to pass.
Activin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kappa is one step ahead there.

Kappa looking to sit in guard and control but Activin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Activin is pushing down on Kappa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kappa is fighting to maintain full guard but Activin has managed to sneak the leg through.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that David Kappa will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kappa. Activin shrugs it off though.
George Activin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kappa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Activin.

Activin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Activin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Activin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kappa can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Activin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kappa is looking to escape.
Kappa tries to reverse the position but Activin maintains control.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Activin. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Activin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Activin loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kappa scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Activin land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Activin stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Activin!
A relieved looking George Activin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
