The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leaf misses with a takedown attempt

and Blaze counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Blaze.
Leaf has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Blaze after a bit of a struggle.
Leaf tries to pull guard but Blaze won't allow it.
Johnny Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maple Leaf.

Leaf jumps guard and drags Blaze to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Blaze trying to control the position from guard on top but Leaf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Leaf pushes a forearm under Blaze's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Blaze is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
