And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Jones!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Els swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Els changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Jones closes the distance and pushes Els back into the cage.

Els manages to break the clinch.
Nice uppercut there from Els.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Els tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Els manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Els keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Els connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jones wants to clinch
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Els lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Els thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jones is rocked!

Els cracks Jones with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Els has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jones to stand back up!
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Els finish him?
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Els. Jones shrugs it off though.
Jones looks gassed!
Els throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Els lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Jones - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Els!
