The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorge moves in looking to clinch but Frottage pushes him off.

Frottage manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jorge manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Frottage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jorge pulls Frottage in close to prevent any damage.
Frottage with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jorge is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Frottage kicks off Jorge and gets to his feet.

Frottage tries to land a front kick but Jorge steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Jorge fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Frottage, pushing him back against the cage.
Frottage throws a head punch that misses.
Frottage working some nice short punches in the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Frottage.
Frottage lands a left hand.
Jorge jumps guard but Frottage turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jorge tries for a takedown but Frottage manages to get underhooks.
Jorge is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Frottage misses with a hook to the ribs.
Frottage lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

A close round but Tiago Jorge will probably get the nod.

Jorge walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jorge drops his hands for a split second and Frottage immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Jorge face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Frottage follows up with a right hand that knocks Jorge into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
