The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloan tries to clinch there but Buck circles away.
Sloan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Buck drives through with a takedown into guard.
Buck pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sloan is keeping the position for now.
Buck looking to sit in guard and control but Sloan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Buck is looking for a triangle but Sloan pushes his legs off easily.
Buck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sloan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Buck has a closed guard, preventing Sloan from standing up.

Buck is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Buck is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sloan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Buck's body to avoid the submission. Buck has instead reached around Sloan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Buck arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
