Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lapu Lapu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yohan Evensemen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yohan Evensemen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lapu Lapu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yohan Evensemen!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapu throws a series of punches but Evensemen moves out of range.
Lapu Lapu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evensemen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lapu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Evensemen scrambles back to his feet.
Evensemen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Evensemen tries for a takedown but Lapu circles away easily
and Lapu makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Lapu gets a clinch.
Lapu lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Evensemen.

Lapu is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Evensemen can't fight it off and eventually Lapu manages to take the fight to the floor. Evensemen looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lapu wants to pass the guard but Evensemen is keeping the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Evensemen can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Evensemen wants to control but Lapu passes easily into half guard.

Lapu gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
A punch lands to the side of Evensemen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Evensemen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lapu as he avoids it easily.
Evensemen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lapu counters with a big head kick but Evensemen shrugs it off.
Lapu Lapu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yohan Evensemen.
Lapu lands with a straight right. Evensemen didn't see that one coming.

Evensemen is rocked!
Lapu batters Evensemen with a massive right followed by a huge left! Evensemen is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Lapu lands a final crushing right hand to drop Evensemen to the mat with a gruesome thud! Lapu is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
