Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Octopus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by If I cant do it.. Octopus has chosen Morbid Angels OCTOPUSS GRIP as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Curtis Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Doctor Octopus!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Octopus darts in trying to clinch
and Jackson counters with an outside leg kick.
Jackson throws the kick towards the body but Octopus avoids it.
Octopus tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Jackson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jackson throws a head kick but Octopus moves out of range.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Octopus looks to clinch
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Octopus tries to clinch but Jackson moves away
and Jackson counters with a stiff right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Octopus closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Octopus tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Jackson counters with a right hand to the body.
Octopus closes the distance but Jackson moves to the side
and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jackson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jackson duly obliges.
Octopus tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Jackson counters with a solid body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Octopus tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Jackson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Octopus closes the distance but Jackson moves to the side
enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson throws a right and a left that Octopus avoids nicely.
Octopus has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Octopus there as he acknowledges the shot.
Octopus darts in trying to clinch
and Jackson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Octopus wants to clinch
and Jackson counters with a left to the body.
Octopus wants to clinch but Jackson slips to the side

and Jackson counters with a crisp one two that drops Octopus! Jackson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Octopus to his feet! Octopus is in big trouble!

Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Jackson lands a left and a right that send Octopus crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Octopus is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Octopus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Octopus gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Octopus tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Jackson is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Octopus buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Octopus!! Octopus is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Jackson throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Curtis Jackson!
An out of breath and clearly excited Curtis Jackson thanked BioPharm Nutrition for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
