Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Kilgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Juice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilgore comes to the cage accompanied by Champion by Chipmunk ft. Chris Brown. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juice takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Juice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kilgore ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Juice fails with a takedown attempt.
A right-left combo lands from Kilgore.

It looks like Brian Juice has been cut.
Kilgore lands a nice shot to the body.
Juice moves forwards but Kilgore connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Kilgore lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Juice enables Kilgore to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Juice manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Juice shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Juice closes the distance and pushes Kilgore back into the cage.

Juice pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Juice has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A punch lands to the side of Juice 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Juice drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Juice is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kilgore connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Juice takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kilgore throws a nice looking combination but Juice bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kilgore shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Juice is trying to defend but Kilgore finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kilgore wants to take a breather but Juice is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Juice misses with a takedown attempt - Kilgore sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Juice gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Kilgore throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Juice stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kilgore throws a one two combo.
Kilgore lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Juice is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kilgore is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Juice.
Kilgore's corner calls for a 1-2. Kilgore obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Juice doesn't manage to clinch there - Kilgore circles away.
Jamal Kilgore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kilgore thuds his right hand into Juice's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Juice.

Juice tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kilgore swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kilgore shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Juice takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Juice shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kilgore as he avoids it easily.

Kilgore content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Kilgore is looking to stall here but Juice recovers full guard.

Juice is looking for a triangle but Kilgore pushes his legs off easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kilgore stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Juice swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kilgore is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Juice is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kilgore frees his head nicely. Oh but Juice has switched to an armbar! Kilgore is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
