Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Viapondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lil Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viapondo comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill . Cesar Viapondo had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viapondo is looking to clinch but Bastard is avoiding it.
Lil Bastard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bastard throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Viapondo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bastard throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Viapondo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Viapondo misses with a wild combination.
Viapondo is looking to clinch.
Viapondo jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Viapondo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Bastard closes the distance and clinches.
Bastard avoids a wild elbow strike from Viapondo.

A frustrated look appears on Bastard's face as he tries to break the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A clash of legs there as Viapondo blocks the low kick.
Viapondo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bastard throws out the jab.
Viapondo lands with a hook. Bastard tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Viapondo lunges at Bastard with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bastard's hand.
Bastard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Bastard throws an overhand right that lands on Viapondo's shoulder, as Viapondo tries to avoid the shot.
Viapondo thuds his right hand into Bastard's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Viapondo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bastard is trying to defend but Viapondo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bastard is refusing to be controlled, as Viapondo sits in half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Viapondo connects with a nice short shot to Bastard's temple.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Bastard has momentary wrist control but Viapondo slips an elbow through the middle.
Viapondo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Viapondo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Viapondo cracks Bastard with a big right hand but Bastard just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bastard lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Viapondo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Viapondo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Viapondo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bastard.
Bastard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Viapondo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bastard somewhat.

Viapondo drops Bastard with a left right combo! Viapondo follows him down to the ground into side control.

Bastard is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Viapondo scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Bastard is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Viapondo can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
