Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Po Pola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiyoshi Tamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamura is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Teriyaki boyz - Tokyo drift. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tamura tries to keep at a distance but Pola has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tamura jumps guard but Pola turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Pola stands and steps away. Tamura gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Tamura jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pola walks away with a smile on his face. Tamura gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A punch lands to the side of Pola 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Tamura moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Tamura looks to score with a jab to the body but Pola is just out of range.
Pola throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pola scores with a one two! Tamura had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Pola closes the distance and pushes Tamura back into the cage.

Po Pola has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kiyoshi Tamura.

Tamura tries to clinch there but Pola circles away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pola throws a right hand that Tamura ducks under and follows up with a left that Tamura also avoids with ease.

Pola is sitting in close to Tamura's body. Tamura has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pola is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pola is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tamura.
