Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Kharghai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kharghai kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Teflon Brothers - Vexi oli velkaa . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vadim Kharghai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lorenzo Snow!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharghai lands a lovely overhand right.
Kharghai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Snow.
Snow throws a chopping leg kick but Kharghai manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Snow has Kharghai up against the cage in a clinch.
Snow stalling the fight.
Snow misses with a hook to the ribs.
Snow lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kharghai backwards.
Kharghai misses with some punches.
Kharghai wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Snow has him pressed against the cage.
Snow tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Snow lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kharghai backwards.
Kharghai lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Snow blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Snow pushes Kharghai back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Snow misses with a punch to the body.

Kharghai with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Lorenzo Snow has been cut.
Come on Kharghai - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Snow is pressed up against the cage. Kharghai has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Snow down to the mat. Snow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Snow tries to clinch up but Kharghai circles away and keeps his distance.
Snow scores with a sloppy right hand. Kharghai should have avoided that one.
Snow swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kharghai.
Kharghai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Snow was well out of range. Poor timing from Kharghai.
A lazy left from Snow finds it's target.
Kharghai changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Snow tries to avoid it but Kharghai manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Snow to the ground. Snow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kharghai will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Snow moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kharghai shoots in for a takedown but Snow shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vadim Kharghai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snow tries to work over Kharghai's front leg with a kick but Kharghai checks it.
Kharghai slips a jab from Snow.
Snow loads up on a big right hand but Kharghai slips the punch.

Snow slaps away a takedown attempt from Kharghai, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Snow moves out of range of the strikes.
Snow catches Kharghai with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Lorenzo Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A thudding body kick lands there by Snow!
Kharghai takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lorenzo Snow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kharghai shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snow as he jumps to the side.
Snow scores with a nice right hand.
Snow misses with a jab to the body
and Kharghai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kharghai has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Snow finds it's way round the side to connect with Kharghai's head.
Kharghai wants to clinch but Snow slips to the side
and Snow counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kharghai's knee momentarily.
Snow misses with a low kick.
Kharghai keeps the fight on the outside.
Snow throws a right and a left that Kharghai avoids nicely.
Snow throws a nice inside leg kick.
A low kick from Snow is predictable there
and Kharghai counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Kharghai takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Snow throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kharghai counters with a left to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Snow lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Snow throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kharghai sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kharghai shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Snow counters with a good low kick that Kharghai was not able to check.
Snow works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A jab lands there for Snow.
Kharghai looks to land a left hand but Snow moved out of range nicely.
Snow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kharghai throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Snow moves into the clinch.
Snow misses with a punch on the inside.
Kharghai jumps guard but Snow stands there with Kharghai around his waist. Kharghai gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kharghai. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Snow slows down the pace here.

Kharghai is trying to pull guard but Snow has him pressed against the cage.

Kharghai ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kharghai no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Snow controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kharghai is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kharghai lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Snow!
Snow suckers Kharghai into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Snow is now in Kharghai's guard!

Snow wants to control from the top but Kharghai keeps moving.
Snow stays in close to Kharghai's body and controls the position.
Kharghai looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kharghai is trying to control the position but Snow postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Snow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kharghai moves away.

Kharghai thuds his right hand into Snow's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Snow counters with a nice body shot.

Kharghai shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Poor strikes thrown by Kharghai there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Snow wants to hold on but Kharghai pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vadim Kharghai will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


A nice leg kick lands there from Snow.
Snow punishes Kharghai's body with a nice straight punch.
Kharghai misses with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Kharghai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Snow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kharghai.

Kharghai jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Snow is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Snow and Kharghai has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Kharghai tries to score with some ground and pound. Snow controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Kharghai with the ground and pound but Snow regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Kharghai is thwarting Snow's attempts to control the position.
Kharghai working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Snow's thigh. Snow counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Kharghai is looking to advance position but Snow has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Kharghai is looking to get to half guard.

Kharghai prevents any damage by holding on tight.
Snow trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Snow prevents Kharghai from getting the reversal.
Kharghai tries to lock up and control but Snow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kharghai is working to get back to half guard.
Kharghai wants to hold on but Snow pushes him away.
Kharghai is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kharghai slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Kharghai moves into full guard.
Kharghai is controlling Snow's posture.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kharghai has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Snow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Snow pushes down on Kharghai's leg and manages to get into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Vadim Kharghai showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kharghai has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
