Ahmed's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Watch The Throne - Who Gon Stop Me. Mohamed Ahmed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahmed throws a push kick but King slaps the foot to one side.
Ahmed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from King.
Ahmed throws a head kick but King moves out of range.
Howard King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ahmed stuffs the takedown attempt from King. King gets slowly back to his feet.
King throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ahmed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has King pinned against the cage. King gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ahmed closes the distance and clinches.
King is defending well against a takedown attempt.
King keeps control of Ahmed as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ahmed wants to get back to striking at distance but King won't allow it.

Ahmed is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but King still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, King has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
King is looking to take a break and control but Ahmed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ahmed keeps working.
Ahmed is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Ahmed is looking to control King's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ahmed avoid being mounted?
Ahmed is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because King is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Ahmed misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ahmed sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

King has a takedown stuffed.
King leaves Ahmed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ahmed paws at him with a jab and circles away.
King shoots for a double leg takedown but Ahmed sprawls well. He's pushed King's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Horrible takedown by Ahmed or perhaps it was just good defense by King which made him look bad.

King throws a sloppy head kick and Ahmed moves out of range easily.

King shoots in for a double leg but Ahmed sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ahmed bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Mohamed Ahmed overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
